The cool weather and rain that been following us since the beginning of our trip started to clear when we reached Millau, in the Midi-Pyrénées region of southern France. We stopped there to visit the  Millau Viaduct, truly an amazing engineering feat.  Completed in 2004, it was built in just 3 years, and is the world’s highest multi-stayed viaduct.
