For some reason that wasn’t clear to us, we were told to take the ferry for the big rigs, not the one that took passenger cars.  There were two decks for the large trucks, with an elevator that took them (and us) to the top deck.  That was a very interesting experience!  As André said, “We were Lilliputians in the middle of those giant rigs!”
